Caseworker, Nishi Khandaker
Major: Psychology & Brain Science Major
Hello! My name is Nishi Khandaker! I am currently a third-year student in Psychology and Brain Science (PBS) on the Pre-Law track. I chose PBS because I am fascinated by how people think, make decisions, and respond to the systems around them. Studying aspects of behavior and cognition gives me a deeper understanding of human motivation and bias which are central to the kind of empathetic, community-oriented work I hope to pursue in law.
I joined the 2025-2026 Office of the Attorney General (OAG) to work in a space that promotes accountability and helps students understand the fundamental policies that shape Associated Students (AS).
Beyond the OAG, I am actively involved in numerous campus organizations. I serve as a board member for Pages for Individuals in Prison, a co-founder and editor for World News 4 Dummies, a D.E.I. committee member in Phi Alpha Delta (Pre-Law Professional Fraternity), and a member of the Woman in Law Club! Additionally, I work as a student assistant in the Digital Library Development Department!
Through my work in the OAG I hope to build my analytical and policy-driven skills that I will carry into my future in law, while contributing to a more transparent and fair student government.
