Office of the Attorney General
The Office of the Attorney General serves as a bastion of accountability and seeks to represent the layman student as the school year goes on. Serving as the chief legal advisor, the Office of the Attorney General is responsible for investigating instances of alleged misconduct, recording conflicts of interest, and prioritizing this year’s goal of service and civil discourse.
Serving as part of President’s Cabinet, the Attorney General will be conducting thorough review of particular matters of interest. Continuing their service to the Associated Students from the legislative branch to the executive branch, AG Carlson is ready to continue making a positive impact on the student body through research and litigation.
Our ultimate goal is as follows: to ensure that the Associated Students of UC Santa Barbara remains accountable to the students they represent by abiding by the constitution voted on by the student body as a whole and all of its subsidiary documents.
Dialogue is the art of thinking together.
